The East Asia Institute is
embarking on another challenge.

The East Asia Institute, first established in Sampoong building at Euljiro in February 2002, has grown into a small giant, consistently ranking in the top 50 among approximately 8,000 think tanks worldwide.It is the only private research institute in Korea to consistently rank in the top 50. I believe we have achieved this far thanks to your support and guidance.

Our research institute celebrates its 20th anniversary in March 2022.With the completion of a new research building, we aim to secure our own long-awaited space.The construction site is located at 1, Sajik-ro 7 gil, Sajik-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The building covers a total area of 300.94m² and consists of four floors (three aboveground and one below ground).

The funding for the construction project is based on the Long-Term Development Fund, accumulated over the past 20 years. This alone cannot cover the remaining funds, so we are launching a construction fund campaign for the East Asia Institute. Your generous donations for the building, until its opening in March 2022, will become the cornerstone of the history of the East Asia Institute, an independent think tank in Korea.
