The KF Korea Workshop is hosted by the Korea Foundation and organized by East Asia Institute to promote and share understanding of Korean social, political, and economic issues among international residents in Korea.
On July 14, the KF Korea Workshop took a field trip to the Korean War Memorial. The participants visited the Korean War Memorial and learned about the history of the Korean War and the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. Participants toured the Korean War Exhibition Room, and learned about the international situation during the mid-Chosun era. They also learned about the naval forces of Chosun by participating in the Memorial’s special ‘Japanese Invasion of Korean’ education program and made their own miniature Turtle Ships.
