East Asia Institute (EAI) is hosting the KF-EAI Korea Friendship project, sponsored by Korea Foundation (KF) and Samgyang Holdings Corporation, for international students residing in Korea.
On September 9th, the second lecture of Korea Friendship Academicus lecture series was given by Choi Jea-Cheon, a member of the National Assembly. Focusing on the unique characteristics of the Korean peninsula which is geopolitically important, Choi expounded on future directions of Korean foreign policy. He also emphasized improved relations between South and North Korea and global citizenship for global solidarity to overcome the geopolitical destiny of Korean peninsula.
During the 1-hour Q&A session following the lecture, the students were able to receive deeper understandings of social and diplomatic problems of Korean society and policy.
