The East Asia Institute together with the Center for International & Strategic Studies (CISS) at Peking University will be hosting the Northeast Asian Security Dialogue between China and ROK (NASD). Following on from the last successful NASD forum which was held in Beijing in 2008, the 2nd forum of the NASD for 2009 will be held under the title of “How to enhance strategic cooperation between China and South Korea over the future of North Korea?” The NASD consists of a Two-Track approach with a Students Forum and an Experts Panel. This forum will promote mutual understanding among Korean and Chinese experts and will educate future elites. It will also aim to create a future-oriented and mutually beneficial framework through the construction of a network.
