On August 26, 2024, EAI and the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) held a roundtable to discuss the evolving dynamics of the ROK-U.S. alliance amid shifts in the Biden administration’s global strategy. With the upcoming U.S. presidential election in focus, participants explored the potential Indo-Pacific strategy of the next administration and South Korea's role within it. The discussion also emphasized the development of various mini- and multilateral cooperation frameworks in the region, examining how the ROK and U.S. can collaboratively address potential challenges to their alliance.
