YIP Wei Kiat, the Singaporean Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, visited the East Asia Institute and participated in a round-table conference with EAI President LEE Sook-Jong on Tuesday, December 8, 2015. This roundtable was held upon the request of the Singaporean embassy to talk about various issues surrounding East Asia. Participants discussed the following issues: measures to promote substantive cooperation between Korea and Singapore; the current situation on the Korean Peninsula and in East Asia; and plans to expand mutual assistance on both regional and global policy.
