EAI's project planned the interview series "Revisiting Burma," that listen to the stories of civil society activists in South Korea who have supported Myanmar's Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) for the past year. One of the Youth Action for Myanmar (YAM)'s leaders, Wai Nwe Hnin Soe, points out that supporting Myanmar's democratization movement should not be limited to one-dimensional and short-term methods such as fundraising campaigns or participation in SNS certification shot campaigns. The interviewee emphasized the importance of developing programs that will be helpful when preparing for a sustainable democracy of Myanmar: such as, developing psychotherapy and educational programs for the grassroots movement leaders or keeping a solidarity journal by collecting materials related to the one-year-long CDM.
