The interaction among economy, technology, and security is one of the main stimulants of the transforming world. East Asia Institute (EAI) presents analysis and prospects on key characteristics of such transformation. With the establishment of the Trade, Technology, and Transformation Research Center in 2019, EAI has conducted research on the issues surrounding technological innovation such as cooperation and competition of nations, competition within the regional order, and linkages between security and economy. The research analyzes the responses of the US, China, and the EU to the changing digital economy and provides policy recommendations for the Korean economy and foreign policy. Research findings are published in the forms of Special Reports, Issue Briefing, and Working Paper.
