East Asia Institute(EAI) seeks various ways to establish cooperative and constructive Korea-Japan relations. EAI hosts panel discussions and conducts surveys on Korea-Japan relations taking into account different generational perspectives on issues related to bilateral relations. With such effort, EAI publishes the research findings in various forms, including "Commentary," "Special Report," and "Books." Since 2013, EAI has conducted the "Korea-Japan Public Opinion Survey" with The Genron NPO of Japan to study opinions on pending issues between Korea and Japan. Based on the results, the two countries hold Korea-Japan Future Dialogue to strengthen the Korea-Japan partnership.
