 EAI Trilateral Dialogue
On October 29, the EAI in collaboration with Keio Institute of East Asian Studies in Tokyo and MacArthur Center for Security Studies at National Chengchi University in Taipei held the fourth Trilateral Dialogue. This meeting took place in Taipei and focused on regional security challenges.

 EAI Conference on Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation
The EAI held its conference entitled "From Cooperation to Coevolution: Strategy of Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation" on October 29. This conference presented the research outcomes from the EAI's Center for North Korean Studies which sought to bridge the ideological divide in engagement policies to North Korea.

In this Issue Briefing, Andrew Yeo looks at the effects enhanced trilateral cooperation between the China, Japan, and South Korea would have on the region, particularly with the United States and its alliance partnerships.
