  EAI Working Paper on the Future of U.S.-China Relations
In this working paper entitled "U.S.-China Relations at a Crossroad: What Lies Ahead?" Hyung-Min Joo sees 2025 as a critical moment in the bilateral relationship. If the current international structure emerges as an unbalanced biopolarity by 2025, then a more confident Beijing will announce that Asia belongs to its sphere of influence. Such a move would bring in a new cold war between the United States and China.

EAI Trilateral Dialogue
On October 29, the EAI in collaboration with Keio Institute of East Asian Studies in Tokyo and MacArthur Center for Security Studies at National Chengchi University in Taipei held the fourth Trilateral Dialogue. This meeting took place in Taipei and focused on regional security challenges.

A special issue of the Journal of East Asian Studies is available now. Under the title of "Japan under the DPJ," this issue features guest editors Phillip Y. Lipscy and Ethan Scheiner and includes articles on Japan's election system, political transformations, and women in Japanese politics.
