  EAI Working Paper on China's Policy to North Korea
This working paper by Seokhee Han examines China's approach to North Korea following the Cheonan sinking and Yeonpyeong shelling in 2010. In particular, the author introduces the concept of "status quo plus" and explains how this is the preferred security context in which Beijing wishes to operate in when dealing with Pyongyang.

Experts Seminar with Prof. Peter van Ness
EAI Fellow Professor Peter van Ness, Australian National University, took part in the Experts Seminar on October 22. Professor van Ness presented on his research focused on a comparative assessment of Mao Zedong and George W. Bush and the loss of moral authority.
