Events
As part of the Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN) program, the East Asia Institute (EAI) held the 14th Regional Workshop on November 19 to 20, 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. This workshop is organized in partnership with the King Prajadhipok's Institute (KPI) and the Asia Democracy Network (ADN). During the workshop, ADRN members presented research questions and plans for the upcoming year-long research project on vertical accountability. In addition, six ADRN regional coordinators introduced country cases of the disinformation ecosystеm. ADRN also collaborated with the International IDEA and youth politicians in Thailand to share findings from "the Global State of Democracy 2023" report and experiences of the youth movement in Thailand.
