The EAI Scholarship Ceremony and Mentoring Camp, as part of the 2017 EAI Scholarship program, was held on February 27, 2017. The EAI Scholarship Mentoring Camp aims to mentor future leaders by providing them with useful advice rather than leaving them to their own devices with concerns about future careers. At the ceremony, certificates were presented by Sook-Jong Lee, President of EAI, and a lecture was given by Jung Kim, Professor at the University of North Korean Studies.
Now in its fourth year, the EAI Scholarship Program, which was founded on the dual pillars of education and human development, aims to support undergraduates with the potential to grow as global leaders who come from underprivileged backgrounds. The newly selected recipients were chosen from a pool of undergraduates who will be sophomores in 2017, while undergraduates in their third and fourth year who were chosen as recipients last year continue to be part of the program. EAI scholarship recipients will receive support annually until they graduate and will have the opportunity to participate in EAI’s academic and policy research as well as other educational programs. The EAI Scholarship Program is being supported by our female benefactors group, W1°.
