"The Second Issue of 2019 Has Arrived!"

EAI is pleased to announce that the second 2019 issue of the Journal of East Asian Studies has been released. This issue contains five articles and five book reviews that cover a wide variety of political, social and economic themes in East Asia. The following topics are discussed in depth: the relationship between foreign direct investment and corruption in Vietnam, emerging collective identity among Chinese princelings, compliance to human rights law and its effects on reputation and credibility in US-South Korean relations, the impacts of rising inequality on class voting trends in South Korea, and the effects of policy changes on Official Development Assistance (ODA) disbursements as evidenced by the South Korean case. JEAS is devoted to publishing cutting-edge social science research on the Asia-Pacific region, and we invite you to explore this issue to gain insight into key issues that are influencing today’s world.  pc   mobile
