The Second "Strengthening Civil Society Organizations in Myanmar 2017" Workshop
"Participatory Research: Developing Community-driven Policy"

EAI held the second workshop of the "Strengthening Civil Society Organizations in Myanmar 2017" program in Yangon, Myanmar between the 18th and the 25th of September 2017. EAI partnered with the Indian organization Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA), a member of the Asia Democracy Research Network (ADRN), to offer a comprehensive introductory training workshop on participatory research methods led by Sukrit Nagpal, Wafa Singh, and Dr. Kaustuv Bandyopadhyay. This program seeks to strengthen the institutional and research capacity of nascent think tanks in Myanmar to conduct meaningful policy research. Seven local civil society organizations, Sandhi Governance Institute, YSPS, OMI, SIPP, AD, YKY, and NDI, participated in this workshop.
