Center for Trade, Technology, and Transformation

 

The EAI Center for Trade, Technology, and Transformation believes that technological innovation and economic change are promoting quantitative and qualitative changes in world politics in the 21st century, and aims to conduct academic and practical exploration of the causes that have led to this. In particular, the center focuses on the interactions between the economy, technology, and security as a basis for promoting changes in world politics, and presents an analysis of the main characteristics of global order transformation and future prospects. To do this, the center places emphasis on competition and cooperation among countries over technological innovation, reorganization of multilateral and regional trade orders, economic and security links, and changes in the global order. It also seeks to form a policy ecosystem that shares the academic research achievements of the Center with expert groups and policymakers to present reasonable alternatives to foreign strategies for South Korea to pursue amid rapid ongoing changes in global politics.
